FSM 382A - Compact Automatic Chamfering Machine

The universal FSM 382A automatically grinds perfect 45° chamfers on cylindrical rods in tungsten carbide, HSS and other hard materials. It is
designed only for this operation which reduces processing costs!

The operator fills the rods into the loader and starts the machine. The rods are then automatically moved into the grinding position, then led onto the
grinding point with an axial feeder. They are then chamfered and moved out of the machine through an inclined slide.

Precision slides and an accurate spindle allow for a precision result of the tolerances as well as the surface quality of the chamfer! The chamfer width
and the feed can be adjusted without steps and can therefore be adapted optimally to the respective workpiece diameters! The control unit is simply
built and operator friendly. The machine is fully enclosed for operator protection and safety.

The grinding is made without coolant since there is only a small material removal! To allow for an efficient chip removal, the grinding wheel protection
has a connection for the optional dust collector.

This easy to operate and compact machine is particularly suited for smaller batches of changing rod sizes!

With the aluminium profile table on wheels the machine can be operated practically anywhere in the production area!
