TM 374 Automatic Cut-off Machine with Servo Drive

This compact machine has an automatic grinding axis (Z axis) to cut-off work pieces up to a diameter of 50 mm with a high precision. The stable and toughly welded machine base helps to master even the most difficult cut-off tasks without vibrations.

The high performance of the machine (with a variable feed) is obtained thanks to the powerful 3 kW motor spindle and also the servo drive, ball bearings, precision guides and a modern CN. This results in short grinding times and a high optical and technical quality of the cut as regards surface finish, tolerances and no burrs.

The coolant emulsion is directed through the disc protection exactly onto the cutting point, thus ensuring a very good cooling and rinsing of the work piece and the grinding disc – this also increases the lifespan of the disc. The coolant supply is automatically interrupted at the end of the cycle to take out the work piece. The three-point clamping device (pneumatic on request) holds the work piece on both sides of the disc, thus preventing burrs and chipping. Special clamping devices are available for planer blades, tangential form tools, segmented parts, common rail valves, tool holders and many other applications.

Broken cutters and drills are as easily cut-off as carbide blanks, HSS knives, tempered guides, tungsten electrodes, ceramic balls, glass rods and fiberglass tubes. There are almost no limits to the use of the TM 374!
